Sugar, milk, & dope

Somethin’ cool, somethin’ sweet
Cruisin’ around sky blue
Satiating simple needs

We pulled up next to a man, and I could see
He was cravin’ somethin desperately too
Somethin’ cool, somethin’ sweet

He wanted to get his fix and was sweaty with urgency
Nothing would exist, nothing would do
Satiating simple needs

Rocky road or cookies and cream
Mexican mud or woo-woo
Somethin’ cool, somethin’ sweet

Relief from the heat
Or the shit we live through
Satiating simple needs

As we leave the man turns and says to me
“I’m glad my kids are grown”. Me too, man. Me too.
Somethin’ cool, somethin’ sweet
Satiating simple needs

I spend a good portion of my day thinking in pixels and grids. Medium is the place where I publish my musings, random memories, and share my love.
